Participant Initiated Non-RID Activity (PINRA)
PINRA (Participant Initiated Non-RID Activity) is an activity that an interpreter/transliterator attends which does not offer RID CEUs. An interpreter may submit a request for PARID to pre-approve the activity for RID CEUs on an individual basis.

Supporting PARID Members - Not Applicable
Non-PARID Members - $40/PINRA
Process for PINRA
Obtain information about the conference, workshop or seminar you want to attend.
Complete the Participant Initiated Non-RID Activity (PINRA) form and email form and supporting documents to CMP@parid.org at least 7 days prior to the event.
2a. If you are unsure if the event is eligible for CEUs, send the paperwork to the CMP@parid.org prior to the deadline or...
2b. Review RID’s Standards and Criteria for Approved Sponsors, revised 2016, on the RID website.
Attend the conference or seminar and collect the appropriate documentation. Submit the required documents to CMP@parid.orgwithin 15 days of the conclusion of the event.
PARID CMP has 45 days from the conclusion of the event to send in the paperwork to RID.

PARID is approved by the RID CMP to approve Continuing Education Activities.
