Full-Time Contract Position in Ridley Park, PA

Chipton Ross is recruiting a certified ASL interpreter for a year-long contract position in Ridley Park, PA. The position is located at an aerospace company and is a full-time (40-hour per week) position paying $40/hour.

Responsibilities: Provide interpretation services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees during support staff meetings, team meetings, training etc. Work with outside organizations to secure additional services as needed. On-site hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Credentials: Successful candidate must be nationally certified and have a minimum of 3 years experience as a certified interpreter. Also must have good organizational abilities, communication skills and have some knowledge of basic HR principles, theories and concepts.

ARCH of Lehigh Valley (Elwyn) is seeking TSS Professionals who are interested in working with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing and who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

*Applicants interested in working with the deaf and/or hard of hearing population must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)*

As a TSS you are responsible for:

- Assisting the child in developing age appropriate and developmentally appropriate behavioral, social, and communication goals

- Working collaboratively with all team members to implement a treatment plan

- Supporting caregivers by providing therapeutic structure and limits for the child by modeling appropriate behavioral interventions

- Maintaining daily logs of behavioral progress and relay information to other staff as necessary

- Attending weekly supervisions

Please note: Cases are available during the day and after school/weekends (must be available at least a few evenings per week to be considered)

You will be provided:

- Ongoing trainings and supervision

- Competitive hourly rate

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field or at minimum 60 college credits and three years work experience with children.
