A Sponsor Initiated Activity is a workshop that has been pre-approved by PARID to offer RID CEUs.

Process for Sponsor Initiated Activity
Prior to the Event
1. Submit the following paperwork to cmp@parid.org at least 45 days prior to the the start of the activitya. Completed RID Continuing Education Activity Plan
b. Promotional Materials (Event Flyer and Registration Form) which must include the following items:
- RID CMP and/or ACET logos
- Content Area
- This statement “PARID is approved by the RID CMP to sponsor continuing education activities. This program is offered for [# of CEUs] CEUs in [Content Area]. Participants should have [Knowledge Level] knowledge of the topic.”
- Information on the educational objectives of the activity.
- Target audience as described in the continuing education activity plan
- Cancellation policy or contact information to get the cancellation policy
- Refund policy or contact information to get the refund policy
- Solicitation for reasonable accommodations or contact information to request a reasonable accommodation.
- Non-discrimination Policy.
After the Event
3. Submit the following completed paperwork to cmp@parid.org within 30 days of the conclusion of the event:
a. List of Attendees
- In Person Activity - Completed Activity Report Form
- Virtual Activity - List of Participants
- Presenter Name and RID number if being awarded GS CEUs for presenting this seminar for the first time
4. Send a copy of the completed Evaluation Summary Form to the presenterb. Participant evaluation forms - Can be paper or electronic
c. Evaluation summary form - Can be paper or electronic
d. Copy of all handouts and powerpoint presentations used
e. Copy of the agenda for the event
RID Continuing Education Activity Plan
PARID is approved by the RID CMP to approve Continuing Education Activities.
